    for chooseyourplant.com

    • I've collected some data manually
    • Asked for images to the houseplants lovers community so I have no problems with copyrights
    • Built semantic URL's
    • Started to parse them
    • Added a couple of images and texts to the homepage

    1. Continuing with our networking efforts on social media, softly softly.
    2. Reaching out to more entrepreneurs/developers/business owners for interview.
    3. Applied to become part of the Virgin Startup program.
    4. Started looking at features we can add to our site.

Curious to know what the goals are with GrowthRocket and how you plan to make money from it.

Thanks for your interest. We're feeling our way along nice and slowly, building our subscriber list and making some interesting contacts.
We ultimately want to become a resource for entrepreneurs who want to start or grow their businesses.
At the moment we are trying to help by interviewing those who have already trodden the path. We've been really pleased with our feedback so far. Lots of entrepreneurs have been only too happy to share their experiences and insight, and most seemed to have enjoyed reading what they have to say.
In time, we'd like to add more resources to really help people grow their businesses i.e. tools and training etc.
As for making money from it, it's way down my list of priorities at the moment but we've already had some interesting conversations regarding affiliate deals and collaborative projects.

    • Tweaked ad copy to be more problem-solving focused
    • Interaction with real users :)
    • Sponsoring ads that talked about the product's solutions too vaguely
    • If you can describe the problem, people trust that you actually know the solution
    • Right now, I'm researching alternative ad platforms and landing page conversions.

    This is for www.mightyforms.com

    • I've been creating content to share on Instagram, like quotes for every Monday and so on. (but is not working as I though, It been almost two months I'm posting regularly on it and the users are not growing.)
    • Create new blog post to share at the end of the week on facebook and twitter.
    • Think to create a how-to guide to users who wanted to create a Brand and doesn't know how to do it.

Perhaps also try following some people on Instagram who would be interested in your products?

      1. 1

That's what I'm doing. Following those people
        Thanks!

I feel you, it seems difficult to get traffic/users from instagram. Are you posting with the same hashtags? Because of the algorithm,...are you posting regularly?

      have a good one!

      1. 1

Yeah! every daily post got the same hashtags

        1. 2

There you see. Also have a look of how many posts at day has the hashtags, if they have many, the posts are going to get lost...

          1. 1

Ah! now I understand why some posts didn't get too much attention. I use some hashtags used by almost everybody and people that had or shared same interest in posts.

We are getting our feets wet with marketing. Since I have a technical background this is really hard. I can recommend this book
    https://www.amazon.de/Traction-Startup-Achieve-Explosive-Customer/dp/0241242533
for marketing noobs because it is really a nice overview.

For our product (https://turtle.community) we noticed that posts on reddit like this one
    https://www.reddit.com/r/web_design/comments/ddzcpr/my_very_simple_homepage_has_a_75_drop_off_rate_is/f2qocog?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x
seem to work very well. The idea is very simple. You look for people searching for some tool/help and then you reply with a link which is not a direct link to the desired tool but rather a link to our community where the useful link is linked.

We also want to start writing an interesting blog, but we are not quite sure on the topic :)

Just be careful not to over do it as moderators can pick up on it.

You can try this site: https://coliss.com/contact/ When we released our product few years ago we received huge traffic from this site and lots of sales. They accept guest contribution.

That's really cool! Share your experience and the pros and cons you've noticed. I think cold outreach is definitely still effective, but it's definitely challenging and you need to be patient. Best of luck!

Hey, that's great news! And it's great that you're keeping an eye on your performance. One key advice I've read is that being able to listen and describe a problem promotes more trust that you can provide the solution (I'm actually repeating myself from my other comment here lol).
