What hypothesis are you testing right now?

Whether you know it or not, you are testing a hypothesis every time you build and/or market your business.

You believe something is true. Maybe that means you think a certain type of customer has a certain type of problem — possibly because you have that problem yourself. Or that a specific tool you are building will solve that problem. Maybe you believe a certain marketing channel is a great way to reach a specific audience.

So, three(ish) questions for you:
1: What hypothesis (or multiple hypotheses) are you testing right now?
2: Have you thought out and written down that hypothesis before reading this?3a: If you haven't written it out, why not?
3b: If you have, do you have a model or format you follow?
