I guess after quarantine started, I dreaded getting out of bed and I started to have late starts and after work I had less time to chill which was frustrating.
Here were a few things that help me get out of bed every morning.
I don’t go on any tech stuff like phones, iPads or watch tv after this time and instead read a book or stretch.
I try to write a rough plan of my what I need to do the next day in my notes too so I will have to be productive which motivates me.
( I also don’t go on it in the morning until I’ve got some sunshine and fresh air by going in the garden)
This helped me feel much more sleepier by the time I slept around 11/12
( I got this from a blog written by Charles poliquin, Canadian strength coach)
It makes me feel happy when I ask these questions and more content with life. I generally apply this to exercise, family and the App/newsletter I am working on
Extra - visualise. I also try to visualise what I want out life and I reinforce the idea that I will get, this makes me want to get out of bed and work hard to get these goals.
I tell myself “Today is going to be a great” and smile. That makes me want to get up now, I don’t know why but whenever I say those words I feel really happy to get up.
I heard that phrase from a podcast but I don’t remember which one.
As I was starting to be more productive, it start to become a domino effect which made me want to get up earlier so I could complete those tasks.
I have daily tasks on my todoist and when I tick them off I feel great.
It took me a while to add all these habits but now it’s become a part of my lifestyle and I feel good. My headaches also started to go too.
Short and great advice. Thanks for sharing!
