What I Learned After Talking to Founders Trying to Sell Their SaaS
Over the last few weeks, I've spent a lot of time talking with founders who wanted to sell their SaaS businesses.
Some were making less than $100/month.
Others were making thousands every month.
I expected completely different challenges.
Instead, I kept hearing the same things.
It surprised me.
Whether you're selling a $500 micro SaaS or a $500,000 business, the process isn't all that different.
The numbers change.
The paperwork changes.
But trust is still the biggest bottleneck.
That insight is what pushed me to start building NexaMarket.
The goal isn't to become "just another marketplace."
The goal is to make buying and selling digital businesses feel simpler, more transparent, and more trustworthy.
Eventually, I'd like sellers to spend less time answering repetitive questions and buyers to spend less time wondering whether they can trust a listing.
We're still early, which means we have the opportunity to build around real founder problems instead of assumptions.
So I'd love to hear from people who have actually been through this.
If you've sold a business:
If you've bought one:
If you've used marketplaces like Acquire, Flippa, or Microns:
I'm not looking for compliments.
I'm looking for criticism.
I'd rather discover what's wrong now than after building the wrong product.
If you're interested in following the journey or becoming an early Founding Member, you can check out NexaMarket.
I'd genuinely appreciate your honest feedback.
