Most Framer templates target the same audience: generic SaaS or agency sites. I wanted to go narrower.
So I built templates for specific niches: AI automation tools, cybersecurity SaaS, fitness apps, life coaching, nonprofit organizations, and business consulting. Nine templates total, all free.
Here's what the niche approach taught me:
Narrow positioning makes copy easier. When you know exactly who the template is for, every headline, feature description, and FAQ writes itself. "Built for AI startups" is more useful than "modern and clean design."
Niches have different visual languages. A nonprofit template needs warmth and trust signals. A cybersecurity SaaS needs authority and precision. Getting this right took more research than I expected.
Long-tail search is real. A page targeting "free Framer template for nonprofits" has almost no competition. Broad terms are a waste of time at my traffic level.
The hardest part is still distribution. I've done the SEO work, launched a blog, and set up schema markup across the full site. But organic growth is slow. Communities like this one are where real early traction comes from.
