Finally got some time and published a list of what I use in my day-to-day life. This list covers:

  • Gadgets and Hardware
  • Terminal and Editor
  • Browser Extensions
  • Financial Tools
  • Mobile apps

Awesome list, and impressively thorough. What was the deciding factor on why you picked Heroku over other options?

    1. 1

      Glad you found it useful.

I started off with Heroku since it felt quite easy. I literally had to make few clicks to spin-off a DB instance. Also, easy to create add-ons. I feel AWS is also good. I tried it later though and there is a lot of support available. (StackOverflow, etc)

For small/early-stage projects one can go with Heroku and once you grow AWS can be a good option.

I have not tried other options so can't really comment about them.

    Nice list.
Something I use on my Mac's and iOS is NotePlan 3 for taking daily notes, tasks using markdown.

Ah, nice. I use Typora for that purpose. I will check Noteplan.
