What if Obsidian & Miro had a baby!

Wouldn't that be useful?

What creators of all kinds (writers, researchers, entrepreneurs...) have in common is the underlying need to gain clarity around their ideas to think better so they can communicate those better.

I'm one of those founders who spent (still do) more time doing mundane tasks – less time doing the creative that is vital for my and co-founders' startup.

The inability to visually organise how their thoughts connect to each other and not seeing any-and-every-thing at a glance makes it painful enjoy the process of doing research and writing.

Our mission at Scrintal is to help people get crystal clear in their thinking, write creatively and share their findings easily.

This is why we're combining the powers of networked note-taking with visual mind mapping – on a clean Scandinavian design.

  • People will take atomic notes on small cards across an infinite canvas by using the Zettelkasten method,
  • create bi-directional connections between their thoughts, group familiar notes with tags,
  • export what they create into standard formats, other tools or present with an external audience.

We believe in the principle of "shipping and learning fast" – basically building in public. Therefore, we've built the simplest version of the web app in a month and began alpha testing with only 12 people, to process the feedback.

This small group taught us so much about what users valued the most in the app and what crucial features were missing that could help them ship faster. We're currently implementing their feedback.

Building in public with a community is the most effective approach I've ever experienced. You learn fast, see what is missing and iterate quickly on the feedback.

I'll keep sharing key learnings as we progress in our journey. If you're interested in trying new things and sharing their feedback, I can help you skip the waitlist and show you what we've built so far.

    Hi Arda,

I've used a range of tools over the years and I'm curious how Scrintal is different. BTW, I've been using and teaching your method of building one feature at a time and getting feedback for years. It's the fastest way to steer a new product!

Such a clear way of explaining our product positioning Arda!
