What if Product Discovery Actually Gave Small Products a Fair Chance?

I’ve been working on Launch Nest because one of the biggest problems for indie founders isn’t always building the product — it’s getting people to actually discover it.

There are thousands of new SaaS products, startups, indie tools, apps, and websites being launched every day, but most of them never get meaningful visibility. A founder can build something genuinely useful and still struggle to get attention simply because they don’t already have an audience.

That’s the problem Launch Nest is trying to solve.

Launch Nest gives founders a place to launch their products and gives users a place to discover what’s new. The goal is to make product discovery more accessible for smaller and newer products instead of making visibility feel like something reserved for products that already have large communities.

You can submit a product, explore products from other makers, and discover new tools that you might otherwise never come across.

I’m also experimenting with ways to make the platform more rewarding for the people who participate. Users can earn credits through the platform, and those credits can help unlock opportunities such as featuring products.

One thing I especially wanted to do differently is make free featuring possible, so a small founder doesn’t necessarily have to spend money just to get their product in front of people.

If you’re building a SaaS, startup, website, app, developer tool, or indie product, I’d genuinely love to hear what you think.

What do you think is currently the biggest problem with discovering new products?

Is it: • Too many products and not enough relevance? • Existing platforms favoring products that already have an audience? • Difficulty getting the first real users? • Or simply not having enough places to launch and get discovered?

I’d especially appreciate honest feedback from founders and makers — including what you think is missing, what would make you actually use a platform like this, and what would make you come back regularly.
