Seeing this AI trend everywhere, I was thinking how AI can be used as a force for good. Still haven't found the answer, but it motivates me to make money and help people in need.
Last week, 100% inspired by Million Dollar Homepage, I created a spreadsheet of products making money with this AI gold rush. The aim was to highlight indie hackers making money.
I'd to launch an MVP as quickly as possible, as my target was to do it during an evening. Having a full-time time and 2 young kids makes time a really valuable asset.
So, I decided to share this spreadsheet on Ben's Bites (Hacker news for all-things AI) and here on IH.
The spreadsheet got good response, with people adding products there. This kept me motivated to go further. A message from a community member saying, "build a website", was the trigger.
Next evening, I used Carrd and Flourish, a tool to build beautiful charts and launched the MVP.
I then went back to Ben's Bites to share the website. To my surprise, the next morning I saw a good traffic (to my standards). This was result of Ben tweeting about it and also @csallen comments here on IH.
Today, after adding @DannyPostma's HeadshotPro supposed revenue to MillionsDollarAIHomepage, I realised that the visuals are even more highlighting only those who are already making big money (credits to those indie hackers). My idea was to highlight products, indie hackers "not making big money".
I added this line on the header of the website: "Product ABC promoted by XYZ - Help a maker - £350 for 2 days"
What do you think of the idea?
