What if your old notes could find you?

Stop organizing your notes. Let your past thoughts come back to you.

I’ve always taken a lot of notes, but rarely went back to them.

Ideas, things I learned, and random thoughts slowly disappear into an endless pile of notes.

I didn’t want another system of folders and tags. I wanted my old thoughts to come back to me when they’re actually relevant.

So I’m building monoznote.

As you write, monoznote surfaces relevant notes from your past based on what you’re writing now.

It’s an early MVP, and I’m looking for feedback:

Would this help you rediscover things you’ve forgotten, or would it just create more noise?

Try it here: monoznote.com

The resurfacing thesis is clear, but the key test is behavior. Have users actually rediscovered useful notes they wouldn’t have found otherwise?

Spot on. That's the exact quetion this MVP is testing. I'm planning to track whether users actually click and build on these resurfaced notes or just dismiss them. What would make a resurfaced note feel truly useful vs. noise for your workflow?

The useful signal for me would be whether resurfacing changes what someone does next, not just whether they click. Are you planning to distinguish “opened” from actually reusing or acting on the note?
