What if your SaaS could turn your entire project into a document?

I’ve been building a visual workspace where projects are represented as connected maps instead of just lists of tasks.

Then I ran into a simple problem:

What happens when you need to take that project outside the app?

Send it to someone.
Keep an offline copy.
Print it.
Attach it to an email.
Archive it.

So I built PDF export for UluP Spaces.

Now a visual Space can become a standalone document.

It sounds like a small feature, but I think there’s something interesting behind it:

A good SaaS shouldn’t necessarily keep your work trapped inside itself.

The data you create should be useful outside the product too.

I’m curious how other indie hackers think about this:

When you build a SaaS, how much do you think about making users’ work portable?
