What is an easy way to get placed on the featured snippet?
Featured snippets also called zero-click searches. It gets approximately 8% of all clicks. Your page should be in the Top 10 results to win the featured snippet.
- Frame headline as a question (or) Use number list
- Give a clear & concise answer
- Add related queries as sub-topics
- Use chunky keywords
- Do internal & external linking
I have reasons to believe featured image matters as well.
My blog content titled Startup ideas vs Problems was the featured snippet when the search term is 'Startup ideas vs Problems' until recently as the current featured snippet features another website with a featured image within the blog post(mine is text only).
Although my blog is still the first result, but google now suggests 'Did you mean: Startup ideas and Problems' which buries my blog post effectively killing my traffic.

I think she means on Google. The top search results that have a their own little box and image.
