do you think it is OK to have dozens of generated threads from one company team member? it looks unnatural. it makes me quit the place because I do not want to hang out with GPT-powered growth hackers. i want to hang out with humans.
it defeats the purpose. ProductHunt was awesome but now it's just another marketing platform that people try to hack for growth and traction.
Quote. Right now the situation on PH is a shame. The platform is full of generated spam.
people always used to growth hack PH but not so brutally.
i dunno may be it's just me? i just need to take a break from GPT and relax. the guys are having fun. promotion of their tool by creating cool discussions.
WDYT?
GPT-powered tools replace real humans with both jobs and replies
That's a cheap attempt to growth hack. And an annoying one, too.
Lots of products on ProductHunt get suspiciously many upvotes and suspiciously written comments aswell :)
I feel like they need to up their spam-detectation & moderation game.
"I do not want to hang out with GPT-powered growth hackers. i want to hang out with humans." - This is exactly how I feel about Indie hackers as well.
Any ProductHunt alternative?
Exactly the same here on IH, I saw bot and chatgpt replies to my post when it was popular during 2days.
I Wrote a post about it:

man that is just crazy, the number of platforms that are going to be only for humans is going down everyday.
how can we protect the web from generated persons?

ChatGPT is indeed an incredibly useful tool, not just for generating content or posts, but also for editing messages to enhance clarity and make them sound more natural. This is especially valuable for non-native speakers who often struggle with expressing themselves clearly. I wonder if this tool marks such messages also as AI-generated...
Don't want to offend any one, but that seems like a generated message... 🤣
busted 🤣
phone verification
Not a valid solution long term. I think the key is to make human interactions key to the app in such a way that they aren't copiable easily... Easy to say, near impossible to achieve WHILE satisfying the users...
Yep and I don't know why real question and comment from me receive no attention. Maybe I'm worse than a bot lol
dude just create 20 accounts and use GPT to generate discussions with yourself

How to create 20 accounts?
Ask ChatGPT. Just kidding :)
