Slack bot to streamline customer communications from many platforms. Emails, Slack chats, or mobile text messages can be forwarded to any #channel. All responses in the Slack thread are seamlessly sent back to the source.

Simple integrations already work fine. I am working on "Smart features" like auto-classification and smart routing and implementation of new integrations.

During my degree, I created a tool that searched through documents for specific keywords and then categorized all examples found so I could easily find what I was looking for. There were similar tools available but none that did the job as well. My intention was never to market it as it was just for personal use. I shared it with other students and they all found it really helpful which shows that if you have a problem there are probably a lot of other people out there with the same problem.

I once built an entire online text based strategy game. It still runs to this day, sadly there are not a lot of visitors on there which demotivated me (and it's necessary to have in order for the game to be fun)

Sadly I haven't done any marketing for my current project pingparrot.io yet. Even the landing page terribly optimized and does a bad job explaining what the product actually does.

Back when Craigslist was still popular, I built a review service based on the persons telephone number. So if a user sold you junk, you could report their number and leave a negative review. I thought it was a good idea, but I didn't like the ethics behind it so I never ran with it. I do remember one person I was trying to buy something off of, stood me up so to say, and I texted him back letting him know I reported his number to my service with a link to the review. lol the person was not pleased...

I started making a small cloud database called BitRocket this summer. I gradually turned the project into a fully open source project before I tried to market it. I'm still working on it today and I'm using it in some of my projects but I never tried to call attention to it.

I've built a bunch of products, all windows applications....

• Duplicate File Finder
• Encryption Utility
• A vault app -- Allows adding files to a virtual encrypted drive (a single file on disk) that holds all files in encrypted state. Something like OneDrive vault.
• A timer app that gives periodic notifications (xp baloons :)) asking to take break. It had a bunch of configurations. Those days, I used to be on my PC on an average of 6-8 hours after my college. I always studied my course material, couple of weeks before exams, pulling several all nighters. Once exams were over, I was back to coding :)
• Lawyer's Diary -- (my first successful product) -- tracks cases, clients, and dates -- was used by a lawyer for 3 years before he went back to physical diary again.
• Patient Tracking System -- (my mega successful product) -- used by a doctor for over 14 years. It ran smoothly without any production bugs for 14 years. The doctor recently switched to a different product only because the product is no longer in active development I was not able to give time as he needed a few new features like SMS integrations and online appointments.

All these were built between 2008 to 2010. Sometimes, I think I should resurrect all these products and just start selling them. Thanks for asking, answering this question was an emotional ride for me.

Wow! So many products, tools, and services out there that never saw the light. I wouldn't say I ever reached the product stage on something that I didn't market but I've had a bazillion ideas that never became a product for various reasons.
