You could achieve your dreams, be the most productive, and be the best version of yourself, if only X. What is that X?
For me, it's letting my comfort zone decide what I do and don't do.
Often, I have a strong feeling that taking action on some idea would be intensely rewarding. But I let feeling intimidated or unconsciously anxious prevent me from taking action.
It's not a fear of failure. I don't think it's a fear of anything, really. I think it's just that taking action beyond of my current comfort zone feels -- mentally difficult, so it feels better to just put it off.
I also have a hunch that consistent effort to repeatedly do what scares you will break apart your comfort zone. So you can be free to do whatever it is you know you need to do to be the best version of yourself.
I'm thinking of making an app to, every day, suggest 3 daily that are simple in a practical sense but will stretch me out of my comfort zone. For example, to take a cold shower. This will literally take fewer than 5 minutes out of my day, but is like an exercise for the brain to stretch beyond its comfort zone.
I'm hesitant to spend my time on something that might not pan out and be a financial success. So I end up doing nothing.
Are you comfortable speaking to strangers (pot customers ) ? if yes then, just ask for a validation before doing anything
I feel you. Though, nobody knows in advance if things will work out. Don't hesitate and just start something small, and then another thing and go from there. Put out tiny stuff to reduce the friction.

If only I'm better at English I could do a lot...
Having to work my day job to pay the mortgage :)
I think it's perfectionism. I have a hard getting any piece of content out because the writing is not perfect. (Original content would help me so much in so many ways.) But I see others promoting their content regardless of whether it's perfect or not. I wish I could turn off that doubt part of my brain and just be shameless.
I came to the conclusion that perfectionism does not exist. It's actually imposter syndrome, fear of failure and related fears in disguise. Some form of fear is holding you back and imho there is only one way through, put stuff out. Start with tiny things below the fear radar and then move on to the next levels. good luck!
Wow, that's a really interesting point!
