What is the best comment you received for your project?
Hello indies,
I am Nithur, I am building RealWorkFromAnywhere - a job board for fully location independent jobs (work from anywhere). I came up with this idea after being tired of seeing remote jobs but only within certain countries. It has recently hit 80k page views.
As a part of my marketing efforts this week, I shared the project here and there.
One such post got 300 upvotes on a subreddit and a lot of comments. Out of those comments came a nugget:
Imo, if you spent the time applying for jobs instead of creating a website scraper, you would have the proper solution, which is employment
We, indie founders, need employment. Go find one, fellas.
Jokes apart, I instantly became a fan of this comment and even made it into my Twitter header. What a rapid fire advice.
This also made me wonder what such comments other founders might have gotten for their products.

A user once said to me... "I didn't know I needed this"
That's definitely a best comment.
I had a couple with my last startup. I asked if anyone had heard of our product at a speaking event and a woman said, "Yes! Your product saved my friendship!"
Our company helped breweries pre-sell beer through gifting... I immediately got her number and interviewed her to learn more!
But my favorite moment was when my co-founder was wearing our company t-shirt in a brewery and someone asked how he got that shirt. He said he worked there. A group of people got really excited and starting asking him questions. They then asked for his picture.
I quickly offered to take the picture. To them, I was a no body. I wasn't wearing my shirt and I didn't let my co-founder tell them who I was. It was awesome seeing this ridiculous rockstar like moment from the other side. Afterwards he went to the bathroom and I started asking them what they were talking about.
An hour later, I left with some of the best feedback we ever received and listened as a group of people tried to sell me on downloading our app and using it. Talk about a very odd, funny, but useful experience haha
Best comment I got for SnipCSS this month was "It works like magic!" That's awesome because that's what I'm going for.
Also got an email about the Productivity Owl..." I don’t know how the program or app got on my computer. It is irritating me no end. It is simply blocking and holding up my work. I am 86 years old, have no business, but am writing a book and using email for correspondence. I want to be free of this nuisance program or app."
So you win some, you lose some.
Yes, but sometimes it lands in a completely rude manner.
Is that comment supposed to be rude?
When I debuted my product, my closest competitor posted on Twitter:

awesome. Keep it up.
It's not what comments people say to you that are the most important.
It's the comments they say about your product, when you are not there which are the BEST!
When you receive those comments, you are making strides!

I’m only just starting on my journey. Well technically it starts on Monday.
But that is the Feedback I would be looking for if my product was live right now
