What is the best drag and drop HTML/CSS builder which generates code?

I want a to export code and related assets as a zip from the tool, not host it somewhere directly.

I know a little bit of HTML and CSS but not enough to build something from scratch. I would like to design a website online and then get the zip with all files which I can host where ever I want. Also edit it a little as my needs change, which I feel will be easy to maintain in the long run.

    We built http://versoly.com/ for this.

It has a code edtior built in, and doesn't take 100s of hours to learn the platform.

The code is based on Bootstrap 4 and other open source libraries which millions of devs use.

But can you export the entire HTML/CSS/JS and self host ? Looking at your pricing page, I didn't get that impression.

Even I thought the same, the code export functionality is mentioned in the FAQ section.
It is available for a minimum of $29 per month.

We will most likely add a one off payment that also you to export code and have access to the builder but not our custom domains.

Any ETA on when it will be available?

You can export code on the $29 plan right now :)

We will most likely remove this and replace with a one off or the $99 plan.

You can try Desech Studio which is an offline software that you just install and you will be able to visually create html/css with drag and drop.

To speed up your development, it also imports figma, sketch and adobexd, and also integrates with react, angular, vue and material design.

You said you only know a little bit of html/css, then here's a great youtube tutorial for that.

In my opinion Wix and Webflow are great platforms for website building.
