What is the best project management web/app for a freelancer? (FOR FREE!!!)

Pen and paper. You can write everything down (no limit to type of input), you can structure every page however you'd like, you can track & sum your times (and other things), it's free and there's no limit to the number of entries.

In all seriousness, you're looking for an all-in-one tool that exceeds the free offer of Asana and alternatives, and it should simultaneously have these specific features/implementations you're personally looking for.

I think only pen and paper will have that flexibility and price tag, and it won't waste your time searching for something that might not exist. Or Excel or Google Sheets if you prefer digital - Google Sheets is free.

Notion.so is by far the best thing I found in the past 2 years :)

It is a bit more and less than a project management tool, but you might find it interesting. It has a simple project timeline tool, so you can make sure you are not overlapping projects - and if you are using the time tracking as well, it is integrated with the projects reports so you can see how many hours e.g. you have left.

It's free within a certain limit(1 project - pay fore more) - but as an IH, let me know if you need a voucher for a free 3 month upgrade :)

I gotta say, it took me a long time to come around to Trello, but I'm totally sold now. I needed to watch some workflows/understand how people use Trello in order to fully appreciate it - it was a little too open-ended for me at first.

You don't need a project management app. Pen & paper or Apple Notes will work. You can track your hours in Google Sheets. There's even a shortcut to insert the current date.
