What is the best Twitter strategy when you have multiple audiences? Help pls!

I want to build two audiences:

  • An audience of language learners for my language learning startup and newsletter
  • An audience of entrepreneurs where I can share actionable tips and hopefully monetise the process of building a startup by teaching everything I know via short courses

My problem is that given I'm trying to build two separate audiences (entrepreneurs and language learners), should I have two Twitter accounts—one where I share actionable information on bootstrapping and one where I talk about language learning? Or just one personal account where I'm trying to do both?

There is a lot of advice that suggests focussing on a niche if you want to grow on Twitter, there is also advice that suggests that a personal brand is key. In my case these seems to conflict. Unless I have two personal accounts focussed on each topic!?

I think you should bet on one personal Twitter account where you're talking about the problem that your startup is solving and periodically tweet about your startup growth stats.

Running two accounts could be overwhelming and that's a chance to burn out very quickly.
