What is the best way to build a site search for a website?

    Search is rather easy to code yourself. How many different tables, columns, etc, do you imagine you'll be searching through? I'd say unless you have dozens of different columns you'll be searching, it should be done in house.

      Thanks. One of the challenges I have is that it's a squarespace site. The native search is so slow (and bad). Wondering if there was a quick way to upgrade this without ads like the google custom search option.
