WHat is the etiquette of posting in 2 groups?

I have a post in another group which I think might be useful to this group as it involves solo business, but I don't want to spam, or copy. What is the most appropriate way, if any, to cross-post to another group?

Thanks, in advance. (I'm a long time member but a first time poster)

Ideally, just post to one group.

I'm curious about this too. I browse the "new" section frequently and sometimes the same post will be listed half a dozen times in a row from all the different groups it was posted in. It's not too big a deal imo but makes me wonder.

Yes, I agree. It seems bordering on spamming, but there are groups with a lot of overlap and if I am a member of both, (in this case Solo Entrepreneurship and this one, One Person Businesses) it would be nice to post to both (some maximum number of groups) at the time I write the post. Just a thought.

I'd recommend posting in one, if you don't get a response, post later in another. The success of getting a response on a post is more down to the title and content than it being in a group.

Often people will post in multiple ones lazily and I end up deleting them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Excellent! Thanks, Rosie. That's the perspective I was looking for
