What is the hardest part about branding your idea?

Asked so I can write stuff to make it easier 🀘

    As a non-designer, everything haha. Most frustratingly is coming up with all the different variations of design for my logo. The different sizes, lock ups, color combinations, etc... I should likely try and purchase Canva or something along those lines, but nothing has really caught my attention enough to make me want to pay for it.

      Truth is, a logo shouldn't change that much even in different lockups. Consistency is what separates timeless logos from ones that fade.

      As far as determining color combinations, it's helpful to figure those out in establishing a general creative direction first. I've got a newsletter on that here if you wanna dive deeper and a video on how to steal a color palette 🀘

      Canva is a killer tool for marketing material creation, but I would recommend a vector graphics tool like Illustrator or Affinity for logo design.
