As I'm building Grabee it sometimes gets hard to just focus on the one main factor while building the MVP.
For me, this factor is the core feature of the product, and make sure that it's easy to use. Because I believe if you can't explain your product in a sentence, then it's too complicated.
Also, if it's too complicated, then people won't use it.
But what's the single most important factor you look for when building an MVP?
How have you found the response to the "First 100 users will get FLAT 50% OFF FOREVER on all of our subscription plans. Only 91 slots left!" offer on your site?
Actually, this is the second time we are running the early 100-bird offer since we got a good response from the first one, and as we got a little delayed with the launch so we planned to take the next 100 early birds from 1st Jan 2023.
Hi Ayush!
When we built our MVP we focused on the target customer. We sat with them to help fix the problem they have using as simple as using sheets and doing manual processes that will looks automated in their side. We asked if that's what they want, then we worked on automating these processes and built technologies that would do what we did manually.
I love what you're saying here. You say you focused on the target customer, and that's great! I think a lot of people think they can just build a product and then throw it out there and see if it sticks.
But really, it helps to talk to the people who will use your product, and get their feedback before you start building. This way, you'll have an idea of what they need from their products before you even start working on them.
Your landing page is so ... wow, love it! 😍
Getting back to the main subject, for me the ideal MVP would be the core function only, simple as possible but polished.
I must admit that I am more inclined to be drawn to a simple and elegant design.
But perhaps it is a mistake to be too much concerned with design at this early stage?
I agree with you. I think it's important to focus on the core function of the MVP at this stage, and get that right before worrying about the design.
I'm a fan of streamlined, simple, and elegant designs myself, but I don't think we should be too concerned with them at this point. We need to make sure we nail down the core function first! Thanks @JustCodeIt 😊❤️

Thanks @ebenoit for sharing such a detailed article. 😊
I agree completely! I think it's important to focus on what the core task is, and make sure that you can solve it without the extra bells and whistles.
Hey, I got a chance to see your product ! your landing page is cool and nice
Thanks for the kind words! 🙏 I'm glad you enjoyed the landing page. 😊
Hey @ayushjangra,
We are in the building phase of our MVP for UpEmbed, and to stay on track we ask ourselves ..
The answer is always the same .. the BUILDER .. that is our core and the only module we need to focus on.
Answering these 2 questions we have been able to stay on track even when we get distracted :D
PS: Your website is one of the most beautifully built ones ever! Keep up the good work
Wow, that's so interesting!
I love how you're keeping everything very focused and simple, and making sure you're not getting distracted from your core.
I think it's really important to stay on track like that, especially when you're building something new.
Good luck with the UpEmbed!
PS: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked the website design. ❤️
Hey Ayush,
I would say creating an effective MVP requires taking into account different factors such as user experience design, development strategy, cost-effectiveness, and more. However, there is one factor that stands out from all the others: 'customer feedback'.
At the heart of any successful SaaS MVP lies customer feedback, because without it, you may be blindsided by critical flaws that would have otherwise been avoided. Feedback gives developers insight into what works for users and what doesn’t; allowing them to shape their MVP around user needs instead of guesswork.
I totally agree! I think user feedback is one of the most important things when developing an MVP.
It's not enough to have a good idea, you have to make sure it meets the needs of your target audience and then build more features based on the feedback you receive and that's what we are trying to solve with Grabee.
Grabee helps founders and product managers collect and manage customer feedback in one place from different channels.
Cool! Seems so great Grabee.
Hey Ayush! Cool landing page, really well done. Shameless plug but I would love to invite you to check out G&E and connect with Lukas who is an expert in MVP launches. You can get on a complementary consultation with him to get feedback on Grabee!
Thanks Sneha
