What is the neatest website builder?

Hey guys,

I'm researching website builders like wix and squarespace.

Do you know of any hidden gems in this space with great UX? I like drag and drop mechanics a lot :)

    Webflow by far my favourite

Yes it is indeed powerful, but in terms of ease of use I wouldn't rank it very high.

Once you're familiar with the box model for web design (which is a couple of days at most), you'll be laughing - it's an amazing tool

I agree that it's an amazing tool, my point is that I am researching UX solutions that are related to ease of use in builders, and for that purpose it's not that useful :)

I'm quite a fan of Elementor. As an example of what it can do, I built both my recruitment website https://devanta.io and Founder support site https://founda.org with Elementor.

Good list to get some ideas from since I'm in process of making a landing page builder too. It would be https://pageam.com

Nice, good luck on the builder project!

I used Landen (https://www.landen.co/) for my landing page. I found it pretty intuitive, but I don't really have a reference point since I haven't used any of the other ones listed here.

This is a cool one too, thanks Caitlin!

Depends on what you are gonna build? (landing page? blog? marketing website?)

I'm currently working with Carrd.co . Very easy to use and it's very cheap comparing to the other alternatives. You can see some free templates that I've built at Drrac.co . Gives you a sense of what type of stuff you can build.

Hey thanks Martin, I doing research in this space.

I am interested to see how the best builders solved UX problems. The topic that interests me the most is drag and drop, complex widgets and third party integrations.

I'll check out Carrd too, thanks for the suggestion.

    Hello @andreigaspar,

Would you like to try out our product LayoutHub https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/layouthub

We are preparing to release it in next week.

    Thanks

Hi Kien, thanks for reaching out and great job on the product!

I am exploring builders with a bit more interactive editors (think Wix) right now, but I'll be keeping an eye out for LayoutHub too. Congrats again!

        Thank you so much @andreigaspar

After go-live our team plan to release from 30- 50 layouts/sections per month.

I hope next time you will have a try to looks and feels

Do Web Devs use website builders or do they code it themselves? I'm a little confused right now. Is this more convenient than coding?

    1. 2

Much more convenient than coding, and I think some web devs do. I didn't use one yet, but I might if the scope of the project fits.
