What is the preferred way to intro your product?

I would like to share my product with others here but I am concerned about the etiquette of self promotion. Are there any general rules about what us acceptable and what is not?

    IH has a specific feature to submit products.

      Thanks. I tried that just now, when I clicked "go to product" (odd label) after filling in the form, I got "unresponsive script" from Firefox (locked it up first), on both desktop and mobile. And it seized up Chrome.
