What is the project you never released?

What is the project (or projects) you worked on but never published?
Why?
Was that a hard fail and did you completely give up on that?
Was that something unique and would you like something like that to exist?
I'll start :)
I worked on a project called "Startup Ideas", a platform that would allow people to share ideas about products/tools they would like to exist so developers could take it and work on it.
The idea was to make something useful to developers, as there are many talented (young) people who are good in technical part but don't come up with ideas to work on.
Lack of time to work on it made me decide to stop. Since I didn't have huge progress on it, it was not painful fail.
I would definitely like to see something like that. There were some similar websites but not so inspiring/motivating.
Do you know any tools of this kind?
I once worked on a video game server hosting company with the twist that you would pay per hour for the server. The thought process was that when I played video games I would only use a server with friends for a few hours and then we may not play for another day or two so there was a lot of wasted hardware (and money).
In the end I developed a good chunk of it out but I psyched myself out into thinking there wasn't a market for it and decided to not continue.
I was considering making a user reviewed crypto exchanges site. The goal was to have all the metrics user reviewed e.g. :
aml/kyc levels
safety rating
fee rating
...ect
These would all be done by users instead of a direct "scrape" of their website and literal ratings. Some like the safety rating are purely subjective and are great for determining the fear level of people about on exchange.
For example when Quadriga CX the canadian exchange had its founder die and they lost 135 million in crypto's because no one knew where he had stored it. Or when any exchange gets hacked what is the overall safety "feel" of the exchange by the users. Will it bounce back like after bitfinex was hacked or will it go down like when btce became wex then admins of wex stole funds and rode off into the sunset.
I had setup a spreadsheet of these different things I wanted user rated and setup a google form to get feedback and planned out in a way how I was going to layout the site.
Then I got cold feet and wasn't sure I could keep/get user interest compared to these other "centralized" sites that gave their "official" rankings on these things and am currently in RnD stages of other ideas :P
