What is your #1 success habit?

What habit or ritual do you do almost every day that you attribute the greatest level of growth/success/improvement? And why?

Is it going to the gym? Having a glass of lemon water? Cold shower? Calling a friend? Time boxing your emails? Journalling?

I have so many invaluable habits I can't honestly say any given one is the most important, but I'll name one that's somewhat unique and quite useful:

Every day, I make a process improvement.

Backing out slightly to add context: I use the "don't break the chain" method to manage over a dozen daily habits, like reviewing my personal mission, exercising, meditating, reading a book, and more. "Make a process improvement" is just one of these daily habits. But over the long term, this one delivers insane value because it forces me to examine and improve the systems that run my life, and these improvements compound on one another.

For example, in my 3–5 years of daily process improvements, I've created literally hundreds of standard operating procedures for various tasks in my life — from the intellectually demanding to the tedious and everything in between. The benefit of this is that I now can blaze through these tasks efficiently and often without even having to think about what I'm doing, which frees up a lot of time, energy, and attention that I can then direct elsewhere. One of these procedures is my morning routine, which has now been made so airtight through countless optimizations that I usually feel great about my daily progress by the early afternoon.

Timeboxing my life, including sleep and food breaks. Cause otherwise I THINK i can do so much more but the calendar filled with colourful block doesn't lie.
All that goes out of the window when hyperfocus hits, but its always there to come back to and rebuild like a broken castle in a day or two.

I created a "structure" that helps me keep it together.
Yoga (am) and jogging (evening) make my body happy.
Writing using pen and paper (am) keeps me centered and lucid.

For me, this is the permanence of a certain task. For example, I write a daily newsletter. First of all, it organizes work, and secondly, it helps business.

Background in my full time job - digital marketing / analytics. If you’re running an online business. Regardless of what you’re selling, you need to know this to test, learn and iterate. Or know someone that knows how.

Apart from health habits, when it comes to business, there's 3 activities I do daily:

    1. Run ads (Check on them, change them, test new copy, etc.).
    2. Outbound prospecting (passed off to team mate now).
    3. Create content (this is what I'm most focused on at the moment).

These 3 daily activities lead to more revenue, so it naturally leads to the most growth/success/improvement for me.

Every day I set my goals in the WBE Space because the members help me stay accountable. Another thing I do is to take some time to think about the next steps. I really need that time to organize my ideas!

    Not giving up.

We all get it. Life sucks sometimes. Or even very often. What helped me the most was realizing that to be successful I simply have to continue working on things, especially when I know that they are the right things. Most people give up way to early in the face of hardship. Don't be such a person and success will eventually find you.
