What is your approach to automated testing?

I was wondering if a few IHers could let me know how much automated front end tests (or lack of them) is a pain point for them.

I’ve worked at companies of various sizes and the extent to which QA is prioritised varies a lot. One company had a large, established product but no front end tests whatsoever. Eventually we had to halt new feature development and devote all resources to writing tests until we had basic coverage.

If you have a revenue-generating product, I’d be interested to know:

• What is your approach to front end testing?
• Are you happy with your test coverage?
• Has low test coverage ever created issues for you?

And I’d be really interested to know:

• Would be interested in trialling a subscription service to have your Cypress tests written for you?
