What is your biggest marketing struggle?
by
Emils
Most founders struggle to gain traction.
What has been your biggest marketing pain point currently?
One of the biggest marketing struggles is not knowing where to start.
The biggest marketing pain point that businesses are currently facing is the need to create more engaging and relevant content.
Thanks, chatGPT!
I spent way way way to much time trying to get fabform.io to rank on Google. I have a few competitors and for the life of me I can't figure out why they out rank me on the Google search results.
Some competitors have less back-links than us, and yet they show up on the The Google first page.
I have subsequently thrown in the flag up on Google SEO.
"Most founders struggle to gain traction." sounds very familiar to me. I already invested quite some time into my project but could not generate any users. After sharing it on Instagram but getting no sign-ups, I came up with the idea to remove the barrier of signing up for a major feature. I hope that I'll get more people on my website so that I can use this touchpoint for further conversion.
E.g. I'm currently planning my trip to Cairns and other people can use my generated link https://simplaned.com/users/plans/share/6300945eade5cce9e21cf070 to submit suggestions I can directly add to my planning. Let's see how it goes :)
Picking the right task that gives the highest ROI.
Just getting more users in general. It's so hard to test PMF and make the product better when we just don't have any active users...
What is your product? What have you tried doing so far?
It's https://www.askedith.ai
I've tried posting to subreddits, slack channels, a bit of google ads. I feel like we're just not getting enough traction
Finding ways to get users on the waitlist. Granted we have received 100 users in a month but, with us building the app with a no code tool we are moving pretty fast. The kind of app we are building would be beneficial to have at 1,000 users on the waitlist so still looking for places to promote it.
The good part is we get good conversions.
Here is info about our app coming out --> https://jem.social
Hi! Thanks for sharing.
Would your tool not be more beneficial for brands that want to connect with creators?
Seems like an easier way to reach product market fit. But I might be totally off about your business. :)
Yeah, you're way off.
Good luck!
Currently, I am struggling with finding beta users for the product. As a small startup with limited resources, on one hand, we know we need more real users to improve the product, on the other hand, we know our product is not perfect now and we have endless tasks to do, like website, blog, SEO, user onboarding...etc. It is a loooooog way to go, but we are excited about every step we're heading forward now!
What is your product? Share it here! :)
Hey Emils, our product is an In-app subscription analytic platform, to view subscription data, analytics and testing in one place.
Here is our website: In-app Subscription Analytics
Have you considered going the AppSumo route? You'll loose LTV in the long run but it can be a great way to get beta customers on lifetime deals.
Yes, we do. But our pricing strategy is not suitable for this kind of promotion unless we provide a freebie ...
Growing my Youtube channel without myself as a blocker.
What is the YouTube channel about?
I struggle with marketing because I'm not very good at self-promotion. I'm great at making things and I love talking about my work, but I get very shy when it comes to actually putting myself out there and trying to sell my products. So I think my biggest marketing struggle is just getting over my own fears and insecurities, and learning to be more comfortable with putting myself "out there" and promoting my work.
Hey Alex! do you have customers? One solution is to use your customers as the "champions" of your brand so you don't have to. Create compelling case studies and have the customer as the center of attention.
This is a great idea! I'm definitely going to try this out and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion!
Got it! That makes a lot of sense. It's one of those things that gets easier the more you do it. But definitely a hurdle! What are you working on?
Absolutely! Currently working on a better way for people share their blog posts + increase SEO. We automatically generate videos from blog posts, would love any feedback you have!
You can give it a try at https://vidon.ai.
Just played around a bit with your product. It seems amazing! It would be super useful for any content creator to start capturing the TikTok or YT shorts audience.
The only real downside I can see is the limitation of how many videos I can export a month. I assume it's quite expensive to run the AI?
How is it going so far? Have you gotten traction yet?
Great, I'm glad you like it! Yeah one of the big use cases is sharing your text only content to video platforms. As at the moment YouTube shorts + TikTok are massively boosting organic reach for small creators.
Yeah we've heard this, we're trying to find the right model for pricing. Not quite there yet!
Things are going well! We've been focusing on large clients + bulk video creation via our API at the moment.
Nice! Glad to hear that. Would you like to chat about your project for https://readlaunch.com?
It'd be a no-pressure interview focusing on your journey with Vidon.
Sure, would love to! My email is alex@vidon.ai, let's chat!
