What is your browser home page?
Mine is a local html script on my c drive which contains assorted links to all my favourite tools and websites. They are grouped and updated most weeks, but it often feels a bit scrappy.
I have been thinking about a little product idea that helps people build and easily update their own browser home page but not sure if it’s needed, what do you think?

I've added a screenshot of my home page above as I'm not sure I've managed to explain it so well.
I cannot think of a faster way to access all my links quickly and easily. It isn't pretty (which wouldn't be hard to do) but it is functional. When I need a regular link I instinctively know which part of the page it's on and moving the mousepad and clicking takes a fraction of a second.
What is a better way for me to validate whether there could be a market to offer this as a product?
@wellymulia, the bookmarks bar! blimey, I have approx 300 links on my home page - I couldn't possibly get them all on a bookmarks bar or a dropdown bookmarks list.
You could categorize your bookmarks by category. And only put the most frequently accessed bookmarks on the bookmarks bar.
oh no! I love my personalised home page full of all my favourite links - it is the easiest way to see and use them. I cannot believe nobody else does it ;-)

So am I the only one that uses the home page to have all my regular links all neatly laid out across the entire page?

blank - interesting. Given how much time we spend on the home page of our browsers, I often think it is massively important real estate that we could do more with.
How much time do people spend on the homepage of their browser? I assumed it was next to zero. Having links on the homepage would mean you'd either need to move your hand to the mouse or tab through. Until I read some of the comments here I assumed everyone used Ctrl+t to open a new tab and then started typing the name of the site they want. This is obviously one of those cases where I assume everyone does things like I do them.
Used to just have about: blank, currently have a Google doc which was suppose to be some motivation, could do anything to replace your local file
