What is your customer support setup?

How many customer support messages do you receive daily and what does your customer support setup look like (ex. ticketing systems, CRM, email etc...)?

I'll start. I get around 15-20 customer support messages per day on average and I just handle them via Gmail. I don't use a CRM tool or "ticketing" system.

I would highly suggest you use a specialized platform for customer support. Gmail is a good tool but it lacks the ability to group users, trace problems/files, let alone the fact that you can go to their spam box, or get their mail drowned in many others when the number increases. Also, you'll not have the big picture if using Gmail.

For me, I use Intercom for in-app support (very quick and responsive), Trello to note the bugs/requests, and a normal contact email for those who slip through in-app support.

Personally I hate the ticketing system as it gives me the feeling that I have to wait (though for some services, they totally eliminate that by super-fast response - try Hawkhost). My problems don't want to wait at all :) I also do not use automated email reply because I don't think it's too necessary.
