What is your podcast hosting platform lacking?
Hi guys! This is a question for the podcasters out there. What platform do you use? And what are it’s shortcomings?
Disclosure—I’m asking because I’m trying to see if there’s a market for a new competitor in this space.

As you would be a potential competitor lol, I run AudioStaq. I have to say there are a bunch of podcast host out there ranging from consumer to enterprise. On indie hackers you have a few also including TransistorFM.
They way I look at it, there are two sides of the coin. Go at a growing market like podcasting but think about what you will add new to the pot and maybe you can find the users that just love your product.
Competition can be a signal of a healthy market. We focus on monetization, so most of our users are bigger brands/networks. So our features are geared towards scaling across an organization or team.
The flip side is, so many host lol. You will be in the feature catch-up phase for a while. But it can be fun
Do you Podcast? Are you part of the community? Do you already have an idea that could be a big differentiator?
