What made you a different founder overnight?

Is there something you learned/found out/experienced that changed you as a founder overnight?

For me, one such moment was reading through a few pages of "The Mom's Test".

For me it was realising that even though there might be a lot of competitors in some market there is always room for another product if you find one key feature that separates you from the rest.

The answer is simple: I switched from coffee to Red Bull.

Same as Mark, I discovered IndieHackers through a podcast episode with Jordan O Connor of Closet Tools. And realized the potential of even small scale niche products. I immediately went to the product directory to get inspiration. From there I took an idea in the handmade business space that I had just running in the background and went to work making it into a subscription product. Not there yet, but the idea of running my own company full time is the goal!

Browsing through Indie Hacker's product directory and seeing so many people making $$ with various "mini-SaaS" products. It really opened my eyes on what's possible.

For me, it was when I realized our product can add tremendous value to our customers faster. We were able to build an analytics pipeline for a customer within two weeks, which otherwise would have taken months. The confidence boost I have got since then is unparalled.
