I am working on Career Pivot Studio, a product for experienced professionals who want realistic adjacent roles instead of generic career-quiz output.
The hardest problem so far has been trust. People often look at a suggested next role and think: maybe in theory, but nobody would actually hire me for that.
The failure modes I keep seeing are:
If you have ever tried to pivot roles, what made a next-step suggestion feel believable or unbelievable to you?
I am especially interested in answers from people who have actually made an adjacent move, hired career-switchers, or helped others do it.
