What makes you read a blog post?
Fellow IH'ers!
I've just started a personal site at https://jwbaldwin.com. The hopes of this being I can showcase my projects, and write blogs that help other people. My question is, as I start writing my first blog post, what makes you click? And what makes you keep reading?
Any tips, resources, or help is greatly appreciated :)

Clearly stated titles go a long way to getting me to click, as long as it's not too clickbaity. The use of barely-relevant and blatantly-stock images pushes me away.
Hmm I feel the same way about images! Even thought they’re so essential - they’re easy to screw up.
It depends on the kind of blog you want to do I would say.
Personally, I mostly read technical blog, so for this case I want the blog to answer a good question or problem, be clear and easy to understand. You have to make something genuinely useful. Not writing something for the sake of writing something, because people will most likely not read it.
