What moment made you realize you were on to something in your project/side hustle?

Zig Zigler said, "it is not for him" to Seth Godin when a man walked out of a presentation. He then pointed to the woman taking notes. "It is for her."
The point is that we make something and want everyone to like it. That does not happen. We create our products for a specific audience. When that audience says "Thank You" in the form of follows, shares, likes, and/or dollars we have something.
For me, the moment I realized Rewind (https://toddmoses.com/rewind) was going to be something is when 350 people read the first episode and three of them thanked me.
Man that's awesome! What was going through your mind when those people reached out to you? How did you feel?
When this occurs it is a signal to start working. There are still issues to solve. For example, getting interesting people to interview, improving my writing, and making it entertaining while educating.
I write technical content for clients. I knew I was onto something when my boss from my first programming internship reached out to ask how he could get started doing what I do. He paid me to write up a list of resources, potential clients, and short explanation of how I write and publish. That made me realize that there was demand for this kind of information, which lead to me writing a book on the topic that I will be releasing next Tuesday.
Sometimes it only takes one person! In this case it was someone who I trust and respect demonstrating with his wallet that a market exists for teaching my skills.
