I'm working in health and safety and LOVE it.
The target audience is super passionate and generally easy to market to. Any other niche-hackers out there looking to share their niches? How's it going?
Mine's super niche too:
@kjz12 and I are hacking MS Teams and other platforms. We realized that there are missing apps for various platforms so we are tackling that! Our first app is https://Coffeepals.co. It's random coffee chats for MS Teams. If anyone still working at a company uses Teams and wants more spontanious meetings, sign up for early access (shameless plug)!
I currently really like the idea of simplifying software solutions that are targeting corporate customers. For example a super simple project management tool aimed at productivity nerds / 1-5 person projects.
The value proposition here is that it massively reduces friction for the target audience and comes at a lower price point.
In my case I am focusing on a very specific niche: people who want to create a Ghost blog & newsletter without any hassle, dev skills or maintenance to take care of.
The most difficult part it to find where the target audience is, so that they get to know my product and evaluate if it is something they may be interested in.
