What pisses you off the most about "to-do list" apps?

It's hard to find a good app with checklists. I define this as "a set of tasks that are always the same, that I will need to do again in the future." If I want to make sure I always remember everything when I go on a business trip, I need weird workarounds to make it happen in most todo list apps. In Todoist, for example, there are a bunch of workarounds that all strongly fight the flow of the app.
