What product from other Indie Hackers would you endorse?
Last week I answered 50+ IHers questions on copywriting and content and came across some amazing indie products.
Some were so cool that if I knew they existed, I wouldn't have purchased similar products from outside. That makes me wonder what a treasure IH is and we are just getting started here.

Recently I checked a dozen different private analytics tools out there and Plausible looked best to me: the script is only 0.7KB, excellent documentation, starting from just $4/mo for 10,000 visits. It is also open-source, so you can self-host it for free if you want to.

Great idea for a post. Since joining IH, I've stumbled across some great products, and I'm always open to trying more.
Two products I've recently been using for my side project (uxgigs.co) have been Panelbear and Buttondown.

I've recently made the move from Google Analytics to Panelbear. I liked the privacy-first approach and that it's super simple. It also means I can drop those pesky cookie banners! It took seconds to set up – including event tracking. So far it's been working really well for me.

I had tried out a number of different email providers. Mailchimp, Mailerlite, Substack, but eventually went with Buttondown for it's simplicity. Easy to set up, easy to write and send emails, easy to integrate into my site – and there's a generous free plan!

Just checked out uxgigs.co - love it, and wonder if you might be open to connecting. We're building an admin platform for contract-based work (workwithditto.com) and sometimes provide the explanation that "it's kind of like an unbundled Upwork" - because we handle escrow functionality and payments, but don't help you find the work (and therefore don't take 20% of the fee). Just thinking that maybe there are some synergies here...

@tmvst & Feedbear - super easy to manage user's feedback. I tried it on multiple products and it was a pleasure to use.
@ctw & Qapop - they have an enormous knowledge on how to get most knowledge from Quora. Definitely worth checking them if you want to get into this space.
@ckissi & Tabler icons, there is a huge amount of work behind this icon set and excellent design skill.

@joshuap with HoneyBadger. The first logging app that I could actually understand how to setup and use. Plus there was a NextJs example which was really helpful for me.

It's an icons bundle of more than 20K+ icons 🔥
I've always relied on freelance designers to get custom icons if I'm working on a project. Since I picked this bundle, I don't rely on freelancers as much as I used to. I found most of the icons already bundled in the product.
They update the bundle often, Since March Flat Icons team have added more than 2,000+ vector icons to the bundle and the updates are for lifetime. 😀
