What productivity, note-taking, any-tracking apps do you use?
by
Fandy Aditya
What apps you guys use to keep your life organized??
I am using Microsoft To-Do for the to-do list. Sometimes google calendar if I need scheduling
Forrest for keep me stay focus
Evernote for note-taking
Money manager for expense tracking
Notion. Honestly, from text notes to markdown to scripting to kanban boards etc..it kinda is good enough.
Hi @fandyaditya
I prepare for myself some tools based on e-mail ;-) but since two months I was share this to my friends and start to build product from this concept. It's very simple reminder, monitor website tool, journal - all of this is based on e-mail - you can check it for free here https://www.func.ovh
It's work very simple ex. reminders is just forward e-mail or just create newone and send to specific addres like: tomorrow@remind.func.ovh or morning@remind.func.ovh. :)
I use personaly it for achieve inbox zero:
invoice collecting - forward and archive any invoices by send to nextmonth@remind.func.ovh then on first day of new month I have on top in my inbox - all sent invoices.
some e-mail that I want to "move" to next day just forward like morning@remind.func.ovh
Any notes and diary just send e-mail to my@diary.func.ovh with title and content. It's nice becouse you can create many "diaries" ex. for each teammate like chris@diary.func.ovh and you can easily get this by send e-mail to fetch@diary.func.ovh
Time tracking is very simple just send start@track.func.ovh and stop@track.func.ovh where e-mail title is project name :)
Best think I have it's monitor - its very useful for website monitoring like prices in competitors or features and changelogs. - just send URL to monitor to address add@monitor.func.ovh thats all - any changes you will receive to your inbox with diffed image.
Hi, @fandyaditya
I use mainly two note-taking apps:
I rebuilt my system from the ground up using the PARA method, the framework that supports the Building a Second Brain philosophy by Tiago Forte:

Hi, the PARA method is awesome, and those 2 apps are suited perfectly! Thanks for the knowledge
I used to use MilaNote, now changed to Notion.
I have done little research, Notion is great! I'll give it a try

Notion is the promised land at the end of a long tireless journey of self-discovery. A path riddled with the failures of pretty much every other note taking app. I highly recommend it.
Thanks for the recommendation!

Google keep and google calendar is perfect. I have use chrome bookmarks in an organized way before, it's great and simple! I should start using it again.
