What profile would fit mine best?

So while I studied business and marketing, over the years I've definitely become a techie (now focused building ratemymeeting.co).

Im comfortable as someone in a sales position when allowed to build a relation. But cold sales is painful. Yet I'm hesitant partnering up (share equity) with someone that can do those cold sales and acquisition.

Makes me consider setting up a commission based role instead. What do you guys think? Is there value in a pure sales cofounder? Or am I looking in the wrong direction all together?
