What’s your workload like?
Curious to get an idea on what percentage of people are working 9-5 day jobs and then working on a side project?
And how this compares to those that are quitting their jobs to go work on side projects/businesses, because they have a enough cash reserve to support it?
Be interesting to get an idea on success rate and how much free time people have after taking either pathway. Free time to do things other than work?

I work full-time + have side projects (too many ideas, so little time 😂). Factor in having a toddler with another kiddo on the way I can say that I'm glad I have the day job (currently). I don't have much free time but when I do that's usually spent exercising, playing music (I'm a guitarist), cooking, or just relaxing.
The story of my career path so far:
I started as a freelance designer/developer. Eventually, I got sick of the freelance grind and started a job at an Ed-tech company as a product designer. Quit that job to start my own marketing agency for about 2 years. Quit that to join Dribbble as a product designer/developer. This was all remote work by the way (highly recommend it)
As you can probably guess deep down I want to be my own boss. I think what keeps me full-time at the moment are insurance costs (I'm from the USA) as well as having a family to support. My hope is to transition into the product life someday which would allow me to escape the repetitive 9-5 but for now full-time just makes sense even though it's not as full-filling.
