What Should I Build My Marketing Website with in 2021?
Wanted to get thoughts from the IH community about marketing websites. There is a million recommendations out there in terms of platforms and frameworks to build marketing sites these days, but thought there might be a clear winner out there or maybe even something developed by someone in the community.
I'm looking to build a marketing site for a consulting business, so basically a homepage, blog and a handful of feature pages. Want it to look good and be responsive on mobile / be easy to integrate / update.
In the past I would have looked at Wordpress, but they do get a lot of flack and it seems like quite old tech. That being said, I've also got some familiarity with Webflow but am no expert with it.

Personally, if you have experience with Webflow, I'd spend a bit of time making that work. You can always get someone to do a little bit of work helping you out to just set it up but one of the major benefits with Webflow is if you do want to pull it out and build a more bespoke site later, you can get very clean code out of it without having to start again. Another option if you're mostly focused on blogs is Ghost, which is open source and again allows for you to own the content at the end.
If you're going to be the one responsible for maintaining and updating the site for the foreseeable future, I'd recommend sticking with something you know and are comfortable with otherwise it'll just always be a headache!

We're a lot easier than Webflow.
I personally think we have the most powerful blog solution except WordPress (but that comes with huge headaches).
