I'm an entrepreneur who's worn multiple hats in sales, marketing and business development.
I've worked with dozens of startups and large corporations with the largest one doing $8 billion in revenue per year (I was their CRM Analyst). I've also started 3 businesses (failed 1, sold 1, and run 1). On top of that, I have formal education in computer science, business, digital marketing, and carry an MBA. I'm also licensed as a Salesforce Administrator and have participated in accelerators like Techstars and Propel ICT.
I want to teach everything I've learned, but I don't know if to do that in one big course, or multiple small courses.
I asked my peers what my best skill is and I've received "sales", "strategic partnerships", "CRMs", "marketing automation", "data analytics", "SEO", and "digital advertising" -- this doesn't make the decision easier..
What content does your business need?
What topics do you need the most help with?
Thank you everyone <3
Hey Colin, I am writing this course on community building. bc I have a product that helps ppl to build communities. I decided to help my users on what their were set out to do.
what you teach must be what ur customers need. People who need sales skills won't give a shit in accounting skills. U want to figure that out by asking them what they need.
Yeah totally. It’s a tricky thing. I’ve trained about 60 people now doing in-person CRM workshops and such. Maybe I can survey those people 🤔
Or optimize the training that was delivered then and make something online-friendly
never use the survey man, they give too much false data that misleads. interview them, ask them questions. figure out what they need. the reality is ppl don't know what they need. They give u an answer but it's not actually true. Interview them and ask the right questions. The mom test is a good book for that.
