Non-techinal co-founder here. I want to know what y'all did to keep moving the ball forward while waiting for a beta release to ship.
Our landing page is live (see post here) and collecting pre-release signups. I'm posting in online communities of our target personas. I'm 1:1 emailing potential customers to learn more about how they're currently solving the problem our product is going to solve.
What else should I be doing to validate our concept and move the needle?

Sign up as a new user every day. go through the onboarding flowThis caught my attention. Never thought about that before. Great advice
and gotta keep doing it because hopefully you cofounder or techs will fix problems. and every problem fixed leads you to a new problem :) or friction, or challenge.
And while checking it over and over again you would start questioning yourself βDo I really need this step/input?β
We (devs/makers) tend to finish the sign up form, focusing mostly on technical perspective. Did it create user with right permissions, did it create some additional objects and relations, are you logged in after signup etc. But not focusing on those steps in between that will make users go like βfuck this shitβ and closing it
While Iβm not for the signing up every day, I think thereβs value in going through that process frequently. You can see which parts came first on your bother list and maybe tweak them.
Great advice. I like where your head's at. This should keep me busy for at least the next few days. π
Now back to it...π¨βπ»
Days?
IF you can finish that all in the next few days... oh my god.
I can dream, right? lol I was being sarcastic.
This will be an ongoing batch of work over the next couple weeks. Some of this I've already done on some level. Other aspects I haven't. All of it deserves attention. Thank you, Andrew. π
enjoy!
Have fun.
@AndrewKamphey I took your advice and got to writin'. Wanted to make sure you saw the proof. Thanks for holding me accountable!
