What Simple Tool Do You Need Right Now?
Hi everyone!
Someone was asking for "A dictionary/thesaurus that gives a word at the cross section of two words. Like a Venn diagram thesaurus. I want this all the time". That's a very specific function and I sort of made it work with Google Sheet and Thesaurus API. So I'm thinking maybe Indie Hackers are also wanting a tool that would be great to have but they don't have yet.
So in this thread we'll ask with:
- Suggest a simple function that you need, as clear as possible
Then we answer with:
- Suggest a tool that does that or close enough
OR - Suggest how such a tool can be built
Need app/site that teaches what various indian food dishes are, look like, and what they are called

Depending on the language too. Some apps are specialised for East Asian languages. Some better for Western languages. LingoDeer is popular for Japanese, Chinese, Korean might be in the budget in annual plan: LingoDeer
Also I've found some really good free apps too but depends again on your language.

you can get it free thru some/many/most? libraries, i think.
and when you pay, you can get it for $6 or $7/mo, monthly, which is about half the price of others, and no yearly commitment. which is all awesome.
don't think i've seen their mobile apps - i listened to audio 10 or so years ago i think.
but this is def the type of thing i was looking for. possibly even cheaper for the paid option. but i do remember it being quality. i will check it out again now.

They can have insane torture and barbarism but no sex talk scenes etc or so little as to be rated G and no sexual innuendo talk.

A site that lets me search for and read tweet threads. Twitter default search is not great for this. I'm not sure of the way to even find mine!

But I agree, not necessarily for threads. This would be a helpful tool.
It is VERY powerful. And great for many functions, of which I'm not even close to exploring a quarter of the possibilities. What I'm asking is to search ALL threads and read them like an article. Not all of threads are there, but maybe I'll settle on what's on Thread Reader.
