What sort of content should I create for my B2B SaaS API company?

I built the MVP of a service that instantly makes any file type searchable.

Users push their PDF, Image, Video or Audio files to the API and it extracts relevant content then makes it searchable via another API call.

The target market is B2B SaaS developers in different vertical industries (Legal, Healthcare, Edutech, etc.)

This is the website: Mixpeek.com

Does anybody have suggestions on what sort of content I should create to generate inbound buzz?

I've already started contributing on StackOverflow, looking for keywords like: "file search S3". Does anybody have any other content creation tips.

Selling an API-as-a-Service is one of the most challenging things to do. In my experience what works best is to create content around potential use-cases of your API. That could even be theoretical use-cases that haven't been built yet (either by yourself or a customer). But this way you can inspire the prospect on how to use your product to generate value for their business.

Another recommended content type would be problem/solution interviews with decision makers at companies that could eventually end up becoming a customer. By doing that you create marketing content & build relationships at the same time.

I like the idea of use case specific examples for content/tutorials. Do you have any suggestions? I have tons of use case examples at the bottom of the website. Can you help get my brain flowing.

Interviews sounds like a good idea, need them as customers first though ;)

That's the thing.. you don't need them as customers first. Ask a few interesting people in the field their opinion about a topic closely related to your product. That will get you content + a first introduction. And later potentially a more commercial conversation.

In terms of content: you actually had the idea of use-cases already yourself. The only thing I would do is to make them a bit more in-depth: either create more longcopy blog posts about them, a short video where you explain the use case, interviewing someone about this problem, etc...
