Hi folks,
Since last month I've been studying a little about growth. I started reading the book "Traction" which is very good and one of the strategies mentioned in the book is to create side projects around your main product to extend the functionality and also redirect some traffic to the main product.
In my case, I've been developing TweetPik for some time and I've seen that TweetPik is being ranked in Google's "download Twitter images" keyword search, but not in a good place. This keyword has a fair amount of traffic and is very related to the main product, so I decided to invest some time in it.
I created a download tool in a few hours, but good enough to test my hypothesis: https://tweetpik.com/twitter-downloader
I also did that in the past creating a tool to create Twitter walls: https://tweetpik.com/twitter-wall
I'm still running these experiments, but for Twitter Wall, it's working really well. It's the second most hit page on the site and it's also bringing some organic traffic.
So, what other strategies have you been using to increase your traffic?
