Twitter and speaking about it in forums

Twitter - I have 11k followers and any time I tweet I get a sizable amount of traffic to the site

Right now I'm focused on a B2C model and B2B model.

For B2B LinkedIn is always my favorite and my favorite strategy is cold outreach (even on other platforms) for growing in the short term. To help boost this you can make posts, a landing page, and comment on other peoples posts (the posts + landing page build trust while commenting and connecting with people builds your audience).

For B2C community based marketing has been working well for me. This means going onto Reddit, Discord, Forums, and other group-like platform, understanding how people engage with each other, and then joining the conversation.

This strategy has been working well for our B2C gamified productivity system. Audience wise we're growing faster than we hoped however we're still aligning our offering/solution to the market.

I also recommend getting a link tracker plus analytics and setting up UTM tags so as you do different types of marketing you can track what's working.

My consulting business is in government tenders and b2b complex sales and the only thing that worked for me was email marketing. I tried everything and ended up (for like the third time) with nearly £0 in my account and did a course by a guy called Jason Squires here in the UK and it worked pretty well for me. For me there is bunch of other tactics but so far this is the most effective:

1. Go to reddit or any kind community that is most related to your product.

2. Find what they are talking about which have the most engagement upvotes and which posts are ignored.

3. So now you should understand what people like and don't care about.

4. From the most engaged see how you can contribute. Since most redditer don't like promotion so you need to find a way around.

5. For me I will use every online tool available ( I even made one for free for my own usage but you can check it out at decentool.com ) to write an article related to the topic of engagement as fast I can ( minutes ).

6. Reply to the posts and attached the article and inside the article you can promote your stuff.

Reddit is by far is under utilized thing. There is so much trick, from finding ideas to promoting to even closing deals. You just need to be creative with it . Remember this style will only work if you able to write something solid withing minutes. Else you will miss the train as the engagement for the post will go down. If you can guess the post going to get a lot of engagement when it freshly post is better

When starting from scratch, my go-to strategy is trial and error. Try a little bit of everything, don't be afraid. Google ads, LinkedIn, social media, forums, blog, all of them. You never know where you'll find your audience. It's also essential to have analytic tools to help you measure your progress. Google Analytics and Search Console are awesome tools to get started with. It's gonna be your compass.
And right from the beginning, start creating content because SEO takes time to kick in. Especially backlinks. But once it's up and running, there's nothing better than organic traffic.

LinkedIn has worked well for me, I try to post as regularly as possible and also engage with other people.

The Reddit community is quite good for getting leads. Commenting is my thing, not just ordinary clickbait but instead I create value with some sentences (what they want to hear or helpful ideas) and add a link to the website so they can go on for more.

I got a lot of reach out from people and it works really well for the long term...
