When I started building AllInOneTools, I assumed people would care most about features.
More tools.
More options.
More complexity.
What surprised me was the opposite.
Early signals I’m noticing:
• People don’t explore everything — they usually come for one tool
• Speed matter
Cold outreach scales linearly - same effort per reply every week. It's necessary for early traction but the founders who get to $10k+ MRR almost always layer in a compounding channel underneath it. SEO, community, partnerships, or product-led growth.
What's the channel you're betting on to build independently of your outreach?
That’s a great way to frame it.
Right now I’m experimenting with a few compounding channels rather than relying on outreach.
SEO is one of the main bets because most of these tools solve very specific search intents (like compress image, merge PDF, convert files, etc.). If the page is fast and the tool works instantly, it tends to bring consistent traffic over time.
The other channel I’m leaning into is communities — places like Indie Hackers, DEV, Reddit — mostly sharing things I’m learning while building.
Still early, but the goal is exactly what you mentioned: something that compounds instead of needing constant outreach.
